This pilot fish is responsible for IT support for a research group at a large non-profit medical center on the west coast.
"The head of the group was a respected physician and researcher and lecturer who brought in huge donations to this non-profit," fish says.
"After returning from a tour back east, she complained that her computer would not turn on.
"I found her laptop on her desk plugged into a power strip, which I promptly turned on. Problem solved.
"Her comment: 'But it has a battery.'
"Not if you disable the power settings and leave it on for a week.
"I think I'll find another doctor..."
